ML Photo & Frame is dedicated to providing professional real estate photography throughout the Rio Grande Valley and custom art/picture  framing services on South Padre Island, Texas.

My name is Mark Lehmann, owner of ML Photo & Frame on South Padre Island.  Photography was first introduced to me as a very young child, often finding myself going through shoe boxes of family photos over and over throughout my childhood.  It was a way for me to re-live past moments in time and a gratifying way for me to pass the time if I was bored with nothing to do.  Our family camera at the time was a Polaroid instant film camera that was used quite often by my parents, and including myself, over the years.  I was eventually given my first camera as a Christmas gift; a Vivitar 110 film pocket camera, to be exact.  It was great to have my very own camera and I used it for the following several years, documenting every vacation, event, or school field trip that I took.  I was always very excited to get the film developed and see the photographs that I had captured.  Little did I know back then that the same excitement and pleasure of photography that I felt then,  would carry on and still be alive and well with me to this very day!

I first began photographing architecture commercially in 2006 when a contractor requested photographs of a large project, and quickly fell in love with it.  Although I have done various forms of photography over the years, I always knew that my passion was truly in architecture and that was the direction I kept.  Maybe it had to do with the fact that I wanted to be an architect when I was young, who knows?  I have invested hundreds, if not, thousands of hours over the years; learning and improving my craft while continuing to look for ways to improve and be the best I can be through continued education and investment in the newest technology.  

I discovered a need for photographing local real estate properties back in 2011 and realized that it was a niche that I could easily and gladly fill, while still doing what I love.  I may not be the best or the least expensive photographer out there, but rest assured that I will give you my very best for each and every job that I am hired to do.

I 15+ years photographing commercially in and around the Rio Grande Valley and have worked for various Realtors, property management companies, magazines, and builders throughout the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. 

I have 10+ years custom framing art and photographs on South Padre Island, Texas.  I took my passion for woodworking and photography and combined them to eventually get me into custom picture framing.
